At ARC Group, we are seeking a Vice President / Director – M&A Coverage to originate and convert cross-border M&A mandates. The role focuses on senior client development, pipeline creation, mandate conversion and commercial ownership. You will develop relationships with corporates, founders, shareholders, private equity investors and other senior decision-makers, working closely with our execution teams to progress opportunities and deliver successful outcomes. - Originate cross-border sell-side, buy-side, divestiture, fundraising, and related M&A advisory opportunities.
- Develop and manage a high-quality origination pipeline with clear accountability for mandate conversion and revenue generation.
- Lead client dialogue, positioning, proposals, and commercial discussions, translating opportunities into actionable mandates.
- Leverage market insight and an established network to develop repeatable origination themes.
- Work closely with execution teams to support deal progression, client communication, and successful transaction delivery.
- Advise clients on valuation, transaction structure, process strategy, and negotiation dynamics based on relevant deal experience.
- Contribute to the continued development of ARC Group’s M&A coverage capabilities and market presence.
Requirements:
- 7–15+ years of relevant experience in investment banking, M&A advisory, private capital, corporate finance, or another established transaction advisory platform.
- Proven track record of originating, developing, or materially contributing to M&A mandates.
- Strong experience in cross-border transactions and senior client coverage.
- Established client network with demonstrated access to decision-makers and credible mandate-conversion capability.
- Strong execution understanding, including valuation, process strategy, structuring, diligence, and negotiation.
- Commercial mindset, entrepreneurial drive, and ability to operate independently.
- English as a working language. Mandarin and/or relevant market language is an advantage.
